Animals are awesome. Children cherish their stuffed animals and love their pets dearly, but there is nothing like getting the opportunity to look at exotic animals they can only play with in plastic. Going to the zoo is such a magical experience for the little ones and parents alike. To be in the presence of creatures we only get to see on the Discovery Channel is truly amazing, there’s nothing like it. If you’re looking to take your family to catch a glimpse of a snoozing lion pride, water spouting elephants at play or belly sliding penguins, then the zoo is the place to go.

We've visited many places with our Kyte community over the years, but zoos are at the top of our list. Members of our official Facebook group, Kyte Club, have the opportunity to meet each other in person through our meet-up events. Our team coordinates meet-ups all over the world to connect local community members. Here are all the zoos we’ve visited and loved throughout our Kyte meet-ups:

Milwaukee County Zoo

Fort Worth Zoo

Fort Worth Zoo is located in Fort Worth, TX and is one of the top zoos in the nation. It is home to 7,000 native and exotic animals, and has been open for over a century.

Oklahoma City Zoo

Oklahoma City Zoo is located in Oklahoma City, OK, and spans about 130 acres. The zoo is home to more than 2,000 animals across over 110 acres, and has been open for over a century.

Woodland Park Zoo

Woodland Park Zoo is located in Seattle Washington, and is home to over 800 animals, including some of the world's most critically endangered. The zoo's 92 acres is divided into bioclimatic zones with different natural habitats.

San Diego Zoo

San Diego Zoo is located in San Diego, CA, and is a 100-acre wildlife park with more than 12,000 rare and endangered animals. San Diego Zoo, along with its Safari Park, has one of the largest and most diverse zoological collections in the world.

London Zoo

London Zoo stretches over 36 acres in Regents Park, London, England, and is home to over 20,000 animals. The zoo is part of ZSL, a wildlife conservation charity working to restore wildlife in the UK and around the world.

Columbus Zoo

Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is located just north of Columbus, OH, is home to over 10,000 animals, and sees over 2 million guests every year.
