Our Products
Bamboo fibers create an incredibly soft fabric that is both gentle and cozy to the touch. The fabric is perfect for sensitive skin, and especially eczema. Kyte Baby fabric is made from 97% bamboo rayon and 3% spandex. This allows for breathability and great stretch for long-term wear. Our products are not treated with any flame retardants. As a result, all of our infant and children's sleepwear are designed to fit snugly against the skin, in order to comply with federal safety regulations
Some quick tips for Kyte BABY care:
· Cold water
· Delicate cycle
· Minimal amount of a gentle detergent
· Turn off agitator if that is an option
· With like fabrics (bamboo only)
· Layette should be washed inside out, zipped/buttoned up to decrease pilling
· Sleep bags should NOT be washed inside out, but should be zipped up completely to protect the inner quilting
Kyte BABY does not recommend using the dryer. We recommend hanging or laying flat to dry. Open your sleep bags when drying them and point a fan towards them to help reduce drying time indoors.

Our clothing items are steamed right before being packaged. Sometimes in transit the fabric can develop marks or indentions from the way it’s folded. These marks go away right after the first wash and are not defects. If you have any issues, feel free to contact customer service.
We dreamed of creating the softest possible fabric for your little ones, and we worked hard to make that dream come true. We do our best to preserve that same, ultra-soft feel on our prints, but due to the nature of the printing process, our prints have a slightly different feel. Although our printed material is still incredibly soft, it’s worth noting that the less printing there is, the softer the fabric will feel.

Kyte BABY fabric has one of the highest ratios on bamboo on the market (97% bamboo-rayon, 3% spandex). Bamboo is a delicate fabric and does sometimes pill, depending on the other fabrics it is rubbing against. Pilling is caused by abrasion on the surface of the fabric. Luckily, pilling does not affect the functionality of the items, and they will maintain their softness!
To reduce pilling, we recommend washing in cold water, with only like fabrics (other bamboo), on delicate, then hanging to dry. Washing the layette items inside out is also a great way to reduce pilling. We also recommend using bamboo crib sheets and/or changing pad covers if at all possible!
Bamboo is grown without the need for pesticides or chemicals, and is an extremely renewable resource. The bamboo used for our fabric is organic, but the final product cannot be considered organic, as it is 97% bamboo rayon and 3% spandex.
Our products pass all federal safety guidelines and surpass all federal and EU standards regarding any toxic materials/chemicals, including lead, nickel, and flame retardants.
Our snaps are made of zinc and copper, our zipper pulls are made of zinc and aluminum and coated in non-toxic, lead-free paint, and our zipper track is made of plastic. Our zippers and snaps are regularly tested in federally and internationally accredited 3rd party labs to ensure they meet and exceed CPSC and OEKO-TEX standards, and are lead-safe.
Our products are manufactured in a family-owned factory, which is located in a well-developed part of Southern China. The facility and working environment are safe, modern and comfortable. Workers are paid a very competitive wage by local standards, and are provided with gourmet food and housing on site. When our founder, Ying, visits the factory, she hangs out (picture fun karaoke moments) with the workers, learns about their work and personal lives, and makes sure they are treated just like family.
We recommend signing up for restock email notifications for the product you are interested in. That way, you will be notified immediately when it restocks! When you go to the product page, there is a box to the lower right of the item that allows you to select "notify me when available" and enter your email address to be notified.
Due to extremely high demand, certain products have limits of 1-2 items per purchase. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. We are doing our best to ensure as many people as possible are able to purchase at least one of the desired item.
You are able to buy multiple blankets, just not of the same exact color or print in a single style. For example, you may purchase an Adult Blanket in Orchid and an Adult Blanket in Sapphire in the same order. You may not purchase 4 Adult Blankets in Orchid.
Certain printed fabrics may feel slightly different than others, depending on the amount of paint covering the surface area of the product. For example, our Marbled print may have a different feel than our Fall prints or a solid color option, due to more of the surface being covered with the paint from the print design.
While we aim to keep our sizing as consistent as possible, our products are sewn by hand, which means there can be slight variations within each product and from one production batch to another. Measurements of our fabric may have 1-3 cm difference for seam allowance, due to the natural stretch of the bamboo fabric.
Ordering
You can mark an order as a gift when an item is added to your cart, or within the “cart” section during the checkout process. Scroll to the bottom and select “Add Gift Note”, input your message, and save. Additionally, you can also select gift wrapping services here for an additional fee.
Please note: Gift Wrapping Service is subject to availability.
Please note that if you select gift wrapping, the entire order will be wrapped together in a gift box with a gift bag included within the package.
Gift cards are delivered to the email used at checkout (order confirmations are also sent to this same email). The email contains a unique code and instructions for how to redeem it. If you want the gift card sent without the order confirmation to your intended recipient, you can use your email to checkout and forward them the email containing only the gift card. Our gift cards have no additional processing fees.
Within 24 hours of purchase, so as long as the order remains unfulfilled, you are able to use our self-help feature to cancel or edit your order. Please log into your Kyte Baby account and select your order number within your order history. You can also access this feature from your order confirmation email.
Please note that when selecting edit/cancel, your order will be cancelled/refunded. Stock is not guaranteed to hold, and can sell out during the editing process. When you select edit, your cart will be reloaded with your previous items, but cannot be guaranteed for checkout again.
Unfortunately, if you want to make any changes (such as adding or removing something) outside of the 24-hour purchase window, we are unable accommodate these requests. If you’d like to add something to your order, please place an additional order, and be aware that we are unable to combine orders.
Note: Order edit/cancel is not available during sales or launches
If you would like to cancel your order or change your address, our team does its best to accommodate these requests, as long as the order is unfulfilled. Please send an email ASAP to info@kytebaby.com with the subject and content of the email stating, "CANCELLATION ORDER ####" or "CHANGE OF ADDRESS ORDER ####."
If you are requesting a change of address, please include the updated address within your initial inquiry.
Please note that we cannot guarantee that these changes be made prior to fulfillment, and once an order is fulfilled, we cannot cancel or change the address.
We are not able to honor price adjustments for purchases made outside of an active promotional period.
In the event that your package is returned to us by the carrier, we will issue a refund for that order and you will then be able to place a new order. Unfortunately, we will not be able to honor any applied discounts, promotions, or sale prices for these returned orders.
Shipping
Kyte Baby currently offers free shipping to US orders over $85, to Canada over $135, and worldwide over $200. Gift cards do not qualify towards free shipping only physical items shipped. Cart subtotal must be above your locations free shipping threshold. This is the amount after any discount codes are applied and before taxes are calculated.
Flat rate shipping fees on all other orders:
$7.50 for US orders that are less than $85
$15 for Canadian orders less than $135
$20 for international orders under $200
All values are in USD.
We reserve the right to not ship to certain areas, in the event shipping charges are too costly. We do not ship to PO Boxes. Please note that local charges may occur at customer’s expense, especially for Canadian and overseas orders where additional duties and taxes may apply.
Orders are shipped from our warehouse within 5-7 business days (this does not include transit time with carrier). Please choose “VIP” shipping option at checkout for faster fulfillment time. If you have any special shipping requests, be sure to email them immediately, along with your order number, to info@kytebaby.com.
NOTE: Purchases made during large releases may take up to 2 weeks and/or major sales may take up to 4 weeks to be processed and packaged before shipment.

No, but you can select “VIP” fulfillment at checkout for faster processing and shipping time! Skip the line and have your order out of the warehouse within 1 business day and shipped using an expedited shipping service. Please note actual transit time still varies depending on the destinations.
We are not able to combine multiple orders to ship together. If you would like to cancel your order(s) to place one large order, you can utilize our order edit/cancellation feature within the first 24 hours.
We ship using USPS or FedEx for domestic and international orders. International customers are responsible for paying all taxes and duties, should they occur when their local post office delivers the package. Due to COVID-19, FedEx now charges additional surcharges to certain areas. The customer is responsible for paying these fees.
Canada Orders: For standard shipping orders, Canadian orders are consolidated and shipped to our retail partners in Canada. Your Canada Post tracking number will become active once your order is picked up by Canada Post, anywhere from 3 to 7 business days after your order is shipped from our US warehouse. Orders with priority shipping will be shipped directly from our US warehouse with FedEx Express.
Flat Rate Shipping for International Orders is as follows:
- $15 for Canadian orders less than $135
- $20 for international orders under $200

If your order has not arrived in 4 weeks from the date of shipment, please reach out to the postal carrier (USPS, Fedex, or Canada Post), as well as our team (info@kytebaby.com) for further assistance. We, unfortunately, cannot control the speed of delivery once packages leave our warehouse. We understand it is frustrating to experience postal delays, and are happy to assist in any way we can.
Returns
You may return items that are unwashed/unused, except FINAL SALE items, within 45 days of purchase for a refund or store credit. To request a return label, enter your order information in the form on our returns page.
International Returns (From Outside the US and Canada): Customer will be responsible for the return fees.
We process returns within 2 weeks of receiving the package. Please keep the tracking information on your returned package.
Please know that if your order is older than 45 days, you will not be able to initiate the return yourself. Feel free to reach out to our team for further assistance if the items are still in original packaging.

If your item arrived damaged or became defective due to a manufacturing defect within 3 months, we will gladly help you replace the item. You must email a picture of the defect and proof of purchase to info@kytebaby.com.
Rewards
Points and tiers are calculated based on the order subtotal (this does not include shipping or amounts paid for with Gift Cards).
Points will reflect on your account after a 7 day pending period
Reward points can be redeemed on therewards pageby selecting the amount/item you wish to receive. These redemptions will provide you with a one-time discount code that does not apply towards tax or shipping. Any remaining balance that is not used cannot be refunded or transferred to another purchase.
Once you are in Silver or Gold status, you will be in that tier for one year from the date you unlocked it. Make sure to keep interacting with our program to maintain your status (or even move up a tier)! We operate off a rolling year status program.
Unfortunately, the system will not allow us to merge multiple email accounts/purchases into one place. We recommend choosing the more active email address account to stick with for the future to have all your rewards in one place.
Points will expire if there is no purchase activity within 12 months from the date of your last order or 12 months from the account creation if no purchase history.
Reviews need to be verified before points can be awarded. Please use the review link you will receive by email a few weeks after purchase.
Unfortunately only one discount code can be applied at a time.
Any sale that requires a discount code at checkout will not be eligible for reward redemption as only one discount code can be applied at checkout. However, you are welcome to use your rewards during any promotion where a code is not necessary.
Yes you can still return your order if you redeemed points towards the items. The points will be applied back to your account after the return is fully processed.
When you use a rewards voucher to make a purchase, the voucher value will be distributed proportionally to all the items in your order. If an item from your order that had a rewards voucher applied, is refunded, you will receive the corresponding points value back to your account.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offset the reward amount to apply only to the remaining items in the order. The points will be credited back to your account within 2-5 business days.
Early Access to sitewide sales and select promotions will be granted to Silver and Gold status members. Limited inventory events like clearance sales will not be applicable for Early Access.
Early Access to major launches like Fall and Spring will be granted to Gold status members. Limited inventory events like LE launches will be excluded from Early Access.
Yes! As long as you have signed up for the rewards program you will start earning and redeeming points. Please note all points and redemptions are based in USD currency not CAD.
The perks of the reward program (early access, referrals, point redemption, etc) is a privilege earned by our most loyal customers and we love to offer this! Please note that if these benefits are abused (ie. purchasing only to resale at higher prices, multiple false referals, etc...) we do reserve the right to terminate access to rewards on a case by case basis.
Yes you do earn points on gift cards purchased. However, due to a shopify limitation when these gift cards are redeemed they lower the amount spent and, as a result, lower the amount of points earned.
Embroidery
To customize items with embroidery, follow these steps on the product listing:
- Choose the embroidery option, which will prompt a pop-out form.
- Fill out the form with your desired text, select the font, and choose the thread color.
- After completing the form, click "Add Embroidery."
- Finally, select "Add to Cart" on the product listing for your chosen item.
Personalization will take 3-5 business days for fulfillment.
All embroidered items are considered final sale upon order submission and can not be canceled or edited. If there is an issue with your item please contact Customer Service at info@kytebaby.com within 7 days of the marked delivery date.
The maximum number of characters allowed for blankets is 13. The maximum number of characters allowed for Sleep Bags is 9.
Available colors include Blue, Pink, Ivory, Brown, and Black. Font options are Narrow Block, and Lucida Fax and Flair Script.
Note that only the Narrow Block font supports all capital letters.
Longer names may appear smaller depending on the font.
Currently, we offer embroidery services for solid color 1.0 and 2.5 Tog Baby Blankets, Toddler Blankets and Sleep Bags.
