Here at Kyte Baby, we’ve dedicated our company to creating high-quality, long-lasting products with a commitment to health and safety. We take our social and environmental responsibility very seriously, and a huge part of our brand is devoted to giving back to our community. Every month, we make a donation to an organization through our Kyte Cares initiative, and this October, we’ll be choosing five NICU’s or NICU-affiliated charities to donate $20,000 to each, in totality a $100,000 donation to this initiative. To nominate a NICU, fill out this form with your NICU of choice and your story.

Kyte Cares Moving Forward
We’ve supported many different organizations over the years, specifically donating to those that help children and mothers. From Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Autism Acceptance Month to American Heart Month and Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, Kyte Cares has brought awareness and donations for a number of causes. September is NICU Awareness Month, a time to honor NICU families and the health professionals who help care for them, as well as recognize the challenges that premature and critically ill babies face. NICUs, or neonatal intensive care units, provide specialized, around-the-clock care to these very young, fragile babies.
Why NICUs?
Due to preterm birth, birth defects, genetic conditions, and other diagnoses, many babies spend their first few days, weeks, or even months of life in the NICU. Hospital NICUs provide critical care to over 300,000 medically fragile newborns in the United States every year, giving them the best chance at a healthy start in life. With so many babies in need, donations help fund advanced equipment and other items needed that improve the quality of care provided in each unit. Every month, we hope to make financial and clothing donations to neonatal intensive care units in an effort to help meet the needs of these newborns.
Our preemie and newborn clothing is silky soft, breathable, and super gentle on the thin, delicate skin of premature babies. Because premature babies have higher tactile sensitivity and even more sensitive skin than full-term babies, our bamboo fabric is cozy, soothing, and perfect for keeping them comfortable. Our footie pajamas have foldover cuffs that keep babies’ hands and feet warm, and we also have styles with snaps and dual zippers that accommodate the tubes, wires, and equipment used in NICU care. It is our hope that by donating these clothes, we can help keep these newborns as comfortable as possible while they focus on developing and healing.
Because many members of our Kyte community are current or former NICU parents, we know that this is a cause near and dear to not only our hearts but to yours as well. While a NICU journey can be an emotional rollercoaster full of the highest highs and lowest lows, the specialized, around-the-clock care that a team of experts provides to these babies is what gives them the best possible outcome. Whether your baby is currently going through their NICU journey or your little one graduated many moons ago, we felt that our Kyte community should be part of this new chapter of Kyte Cares.
