Why should I buy a baby bouncer?
Our lightweight bouncers are easy to move around and take with you—they're a cozy place for your baby to play close by you while you have your hands free for a while. The natural rocking of a bouncer usually has a comforting effect on a very young baby. As your baby grows and learns how to control the rocking, the bouncer becomes even more fun and also stimulates your baby's balance and motor skills.
Is the baby bouncer easy to take with you?
Yes, Bouncer Bliss is lightweight and easy to fold down. You can move it around your home or take it with you to dinner at a friend’s house (when folded down, the bouncer fits perfectly in the basket under your stroller). It also has a smart and practical transport bag, which you’ll find here.
What’s the difference between a baby bouncer and a baby swing?
Our baby bouncer offers natural rocking generated by your baby’s own movements, unlike a battery or electrically powered baby swing. This means that our baby bouncer weighs less, making it easier to move around and take with you.
Does my baby get the correct support in a bouncer from BabyBjörn?
Our bouncers have an ergonomic design that provides the optimal support for your baby’s back, neck and head. The fitted fabric seat distributes your baby’s weight evenly, and the bouncer has three different positions, which means you can adjust it as your baby grows.
How long can I use Bouncer Bliss?
Bouncer Bliss can be used by newborns and up to the age of 2. In the early months, until your baby starts trying to sit up, you can use it as a bouncer. You can then use the bouncer as a comfortable child seat by simply reversing the fabric seat.
What makes the baby bouncer rock?
Our bouncer rocks gently when your baby waves their arms and legs. No batteries are required—our baby bouncer runs on pure fun!
Can you change the fabric seat?
Yes, the fabric seat is very easy to attach and remove. This is ideal if you need to wash it (all of our fabric seats are machine washable) or want to give your bouncer a makeover with a new color or fabric.
Did you know that our baby bouncers have been developed in cooperation with experts?
We want you to feel safe and secure when your baby is sitting in a bouncer from BabyBjörn. That’s why all of our baby bouncers have been developed in cooperation with medical specialists. All fabrics that come in contact with your child’s skin meet the requirements of OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class 1 for baby products. This means that they’re kind to your baby’s skin and safe to taste.
Bouncer Bliss and Bouncer Balance Soft complies with the US ASTM F2167 and the ASTM F2613 safety standard.
Bouncer (max. 20 lbs/9 kg)
You can use the product as a bouncer until your child weighs 20 lbs/9 kg or starts trying to sit up. Remember to keep your baby under constant supervision, use the safety harness and double-check that the snaps are locked (you can choose between two positions) when using the product as a baby bouncer.
Chair (max. 29 lbs/13 kg)
When your child has learned to walk and sit down unaided, simply turn the fabric seat around and use the product as a comfy children’s chair. No matter which material you choose, Bouncer Bliss is machine washable on warm (40°C). The fabric seat should be washed separately but should not be tumble dried. Please use a mild, eco-certified detergent and strictly follow the dosage instructions. Do not iron or use fabric softener if you have a fabric seat in 3D-mesh.

Here are a couple things to note before you purchase:
-In Fall 2020, we began printing product information directly on the garment instead of on a neck tag. In Fall 2021, we began adding fold-over mittens to our Preemie and 0-3 month sizes on our long-sleeve apparel. We are still selling the original versions in order to reduce waste. Until all old inventory sells through, we are unable to guarantee which version you receive.
-We are currently in the process of changing our product tags and hang tags as a result of our rebranding, but please be aware that some of your garments may still have our old product tags or hang tags attached.
-Colors may vary slightly from how they appear on your computer or smartphone screen.
-Due to the nature of the printing process, our prints may feel slightly less soft than our solids. The rule of thumb to follow is: the less printing there is, the softer the fabric will be.
